Mike Daly’s song “Our Time Now”  is the hit follow up single to “Delilah” for The Plain White T’s and is climbing the charts.

 

 

 

Call your local radio station to request LUNA HALO’s debut single “Untouchable” starting Feb. 19th!!!!  Major Bob’s Cary Barlowe is a member of the band and co-wrote 9 of the tracks.

 

 

Congratluations to Neil Thrasher for three weeks and still going with his Number 1 Rascal Flatts smash “Take Me There” off the new record entitled “Still Feels Good”.  Neil co-wrote a total of 5 songs on the record including the title track.  This is the second Rascal Flatts album in a row that Neil has landed 5 cuts each!

 

Major Bob Music is proud to welcome Cary Barlowe to the writing roster.  Cary has multiple artist cuts in a variety of genres including two #1 christian singles (Tobymac’s “Made To Love You” and “I’m For You”) in 2007 alone. 

Cary is also a co-writer and member of Columbia/American Record’s highly acclaimed Luna Halo who’s debut record was executively produced by Rick Rubin and produced by Neal Avron (Yellowcard, Fall Out Boy, Everclear).

George Canyon Takes Home Three East Coast Music Awards Including Entertainer of the Year!

February 20, 2007 – For the third year in a row Canadian country artist George Canyon has been voted Entertainer of the Year at the East Coast Music Awards, which took place on Sunday February 18th in Halifax , NS . The award, which is voted on by fans, is a special one for Canyon. “God is great,” he said in his acceptance speech, before thanking his fans for the honor. Canyon also brought home the awards for Country Recording of the Year for his album, Somebody Wrote Love, and Video of the Year for his “Drinkin’ Thinkin’” video.
  
The ECMAs were hosted this year by The Trailer Park Boys and Canyon was joined onstage by Bubbles (Mike Smith) to accept the award for Video of the Year. Smith’s hilarious cameo was a highlight of the video, which was a mainstay on CMT Canada for many months.
  
Canyon, who is a nominee for Country Recording of the Year at this year’s Juno Awards, recently released a new single and video from Somebody Wrote Love (Universal Music Canada), “I Want You to Live.” The video, which features members of the Canadian Forces, is in heavy rotation at CMT Canada and the single has been added at radio stations across Canada .
