George Canyon Takes Home Three East Coast Music Awards Including Entertainer of the Year! February 20, 2007 – For the third year in a row Canadian country artist George Canyon has been voted Entertainer of the Year at the East Coast Music Awards, which took place on Sunday February 18th in Halifax , NS . The award, which is voted on by fans, is a special one for Canyon. “God is great,” he said in his acceptance speech, before thanking his fans for the honor. Canyon also brought home the awards for Country Recording of the Year for his album, Somebody Wrote Love, and Video of the Year for his “Drinkin’ Thinkin’” video.
