Lizzy McAvoy is the newest addition to the Major Bob roster after signing with us in April 2009. Coming from a small town in Ohio, Lizzy has been working hard as a songwriter for years. From a very early age, Lizzy wanted to be on the stage and made her debut as Molly in the musical "Annie" at age four. Since then, Lizzy has performed on dozens of stages across Ohio and Nashville. She has performed on National Television (America's Most Talented Kids) and as an Anthem singer (Cleveland Cavaliers, Columbus Blue Jackets).

Along with singing and songwriting, Lizzy is an accomplished instrumentalist. Her key instruments include acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo, Irish bouzouki, piano, and she has just started to pick up the electric bass and accordion.

When she is not on stage, Lizzy is usually in the studio recording demos or writing. Lizzy has been recognized in competitions such as Broadjam, Cooch Songwriting, International Songwriting Competition (Semi- Finalist), Uni-Song (Honorable Mention), and NSAI/ CMT song contest (Honorable Mention).
