Shane Stevens

BIO
Beginning his professional writing career in 2001, he has had cuts by artists such as Jordan Sparks ("Was I the Only One") to Gloriana ("Over Me Know?"), Lady Antebellum's multi week #1 "American Honey". it is no wonder he has won over both New York and Nashville with his songwriting. In 2006 Shane was signed to Oona Songs, Major Bob's New York Branch. The past few years Shane lived in New York and commuted to Nashville. However, the south eventually won him over and he made Nashville his official home this summer.

Shane Stevens' writing style is as versatile as it gets. He is a multigenre writer whose lyrics are not only deep, but catchy. In the country ballad "Living Like This" he sings of the hope of changing a relationship that looks like it has been lost, while "Calling You Out" is an upbeat tempoed pop song encouraging the girl of you dreams to give you the time of day.

He has had over 15 cuts in multiple genres and 2009 has been his most exciting year yet.
