A New England native, Colin Healy can’t remember a time that music wasn’t a part of his life due to the musical influences from his family. Early on he started playing drums, piano and guitar. In his teens he focused on bass & guitar while playing in a regional band that he promoted, booked and managed.

After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Colin set out for Nashville to pursue music professionally.  Nashville felt like home with a close knit and supportive community of musicians and songwriters all pursuing their dreams.  "I enjoy the creative process of writing songs and collaborating with other artists, and songwriters.  It opens the writing process up to different ideas and perspectives.  I get to be in a different band every day in the room."

In 2011 Colin began as a touring musician playing bass guitar for Dustin Lynch eventually taking on the additional role of Music Director.  He continues to tour with the band playing major venues throughout the United States and internationally.  "It is invigorating to be on a live stage every weekend.  It's good to step out of the writing room and see what audiences react to live."

Colin continues to write and produce and signed a publishing deal with Major Bob in January 2020. He has cuts with Megan Moroney, Avery Anna, CB30, The Pretty Wild, Derek Austin, Nate Barnes, and Harper Grae. Healy’s most recent cuts include “Biggest T-shirt” on Avery’s EP Mood Swings and a song he co-wrote with Megan Moroney, “God Plays A Gibson” on her debut album Lucky.
